Amari Nivaan Sparks was born sleeping at 1215am August 8th 2026 at Boone Hospital. He was born on his fathers birthday and measured at 6lbs 3.4oz and 20 inches long. Amari was beautiful with a full head of dark hair a button nose and a defined Cupids bow. Michael McCallum known to most as Mike was the youngest of ten children born of Erb and Anne Byrne McCallum passed Thursday August 6th after a 7 year journey through dementia and a brief severe illness. Mike married the love of his life Jackie Worley on June 4 1960. They enjoyed 66 happy years of adventures together. Mike was a lifelong resident of Moberly and member of the St. Pius X community. His faith family and friends were everything to him. Quiet and reserved by nature Mike possessed a dry wit and was a jokester with those closest to him. He was an all around standup guy always willing to lend a hand to help anyone. Mike was a hard worker beginning in his youth. Jerry Hulen Gillaspie of Columbia Missouri formerly of Moberly passed away August 16 2026 at the age of 87. He was born March 20 1939 in Moberly Missouri to Earl and Leona Renfro Gillaspie. Jerry was a hardworking and dedicated man who took great pride in his work and in providing for his family. He began his career with the Wabash Railroad where he worked as a conductor. After several years with the railroad Jerry became the owner of a Conoco gas station. He later sold the station and began a successful career in real estate a profession he truly enjoyed and continued until his retirement. While Jerry was proud of his career and accomplishments his greatest joy came from his family. He especially cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and loved watching them grow. He also enjoyed good food good company a good lawn and the companionship…
