Geri was born November 30 1946 in Sheridan Wyoming to Frank and Margaret Barrett Tschirgi. Raised on the Antler Ranch she was the granddaughter of cattle baron Matthew Tschirgi and Bertha Weidman Tschirgi. She graduated from the Bishops School in La Jolla California in 1962 from Syracuse University in 1966 and from Eastern Montana College in Billings in 1978. A brilliant and talented woman she was known for her compassionate and successful career as an involved special education teacher in the Hardin school district touching the lives of countless families. A passionate swimmer she taught hundreds of children the joy of swimming. As a lover of animals in particular dogs she was a steward to creatures great and small.
