Victor David Blen Hinton 95 of Victor Montana passed away on August 12 2026. He was born on November 13 1930 Stevensville Montana. David dedicated much of his life to service retiring with 33 distinguished years in the Army and National Guard. He also served as a prison guard at the Montana State Prison where he demonstrated remarkable courage as one of the prison guards held hostage during the 1959 prison riot. His commitment to duty defined his life and earned him the respect of those who knew him. Beyond his career David was a man of many talents and generous spirit. He possessed a gift for building and fixing things always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
