Donald A. Steffen 79 of West Point died Thursday April 2 2026 at Franciscan Healthcare in West Point.Funeral Mass will be 1030am on Tuesday April 7 at St. Marys Catholic Church in West Point with Fr. Mark McKercher as celebrant. Interment will be at St. Michaels Cemetery with lunch following at the Nielsen Center. Visitation will be Monday from 500pm to 700pm with a Vigil Service at 700pm at St. Marys Catholic Church. Visitation will continue Tuesday from 900am to 1000am at Stokely Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Michaels Cemetery. Arrangements by Stokely Funeral Home. Donald Allan Steffen was born at home on December 1 1946 to Edmund and Ida Harstick Steffen. He attended Guardian Angels School and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1965. In 1966 he joined the Army Reserves and was honorably discharged in 1971.
