Abelardo Abe Esquitin 85 of Grand Island passed away April 1 2026 with his family by his side. Services will 1030 a.m. Friday April 10 2026 at St. Marys Cathedral with Father Jorge Canela officiating. Visitation will be from 900 a.m. until service time. Inurnment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Family to be designated at a later date. Abe was born in Brownsville TX on June 19 1940 to Teresa Esquitin. He grew up in Brownsville and graduated high school in 1959. He enlisted into The United States Air Force on August 1960.
