A Memorial Service for Milton J. Bethune age 78 of Wayne Nebraska will be 1100 a.m. Monday April 6 2026 at Home for Funerals Chapel 708 Georgia Avenue in Norfolk. Reverend Jim Splitt will officiate. Milton James was born April 17 1947 in Norfolk Nebraska to Earl and Dorothy Staben Bethune. He grew up in Randolph Nebraska. Milton was baptized and confirmed at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Randolph. He graduated from Randolph High School. Following graduation Milton joined the United States Air Force and proudly served our country from July of 1965 until December of 1968. Milton was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Onawa Iowa and a member of American Legion Post 159 in Beemer Nebraska. In July of 2024 he received a Quilt of Valor from Sandra Fuoss of Lyons.
