Eleanor May Wilson MacDonald of Napan New Brunswick wife of Terry MacDonald passed away suddenly at her home on February 10 2026 at the age of 83. Eleanor found her greatest happiness in her family. She loved spending time with her children grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo darts and cards and she especially loved having her family gathered around her. Christmas was her favorite time of year and she always made it special. She never forgot a birthday anniversary or important milestone. She was known for her baking and could often be heard humming as she worked around the house. Thomas Tim Hoban

Thomas Lewis Tim Hoban of Miramichi New Brunswick passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on February 5 2026 at the age of 84. Born in Sydney Cape Breton Nova Scotia on January 26 1942 Tim was the son of the late Thomas Lewis and Jennie Thompson Hoban. Tim married the love of his life Betty Joy Wiseman Hoban. Together they raised three sons Thomas L. Jr. William and John deceased. He is survived by his sons Thomas and William his brother Clifford and his sister Joan. In addition to his parents and his son John Tim was predeceased by his beloved wife Betty and his sisters Mary and Shirley. Tim graduated from Sydney Academy in 1960 and joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 1961. He proudly served for 24 years before retiring.
