Robert Strough

Born on May 6 1947 in Cleveland Ohio Robert Bob was the beloved son of the late Robert and Katherine Strough. He grew up in Glastonbury CT where he met his beloved wife of 55 years Elizabeth Libby. He was a graduate of Kingswood Oxford School in West Hartford CT Class of 1965 and Hobart College Class of 1969 where he began a lifelong pursuit of technical knowledge and excellence. Later he went on to earn an MBA from the University of Hartford. Bobs dedication to aerospace began with his service in the United States Air Force from 1969 to 1973 where he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. His duties took him from the northern landscape of Loring Air Force Base in Maine to the strategic post of Andersen Air Base in Guam.
