Portsmouth, NH – Marilyn Grace (Murphy) Mosher, age 84, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, August 6, 2026, with her loving family by her side. Marilyn was born in Malden, Mass., on October 16, 1941, to the late Emma Miller and Thomas Murphy.Known affectionately to her coworkers and community as "Murph," Marilyn was a warm, familiar face at The Fisherman's Pier Restaurant, Yoken's, and The Dinnerhorn, where she took great pride in the lasting relationships she formed with the locals.Some of Marilyn’s fondest memories were anchored in downtown Portsmouth, where she and her husband George, shared their best years living aboard a houseboat. Her trips to Germany held a particularly cherished place in her heart.
