Michael "Mike" Olszak, 84, of Fairfield, passed away at home, Thursday, April 2, 2026.He was the multi-media specialist at Becton Regional High School in East Rutherford until his retirement and previously worked as an English teacher for the South Amboy Public Schools.He was a former member of the Fairfield Board of Education, served on the Fairfield Library Board of Trustees, a third degree Knight of Columbus, was deeply devoted to his two grand children Abigail and Gianna, loved doing crossword puzzles and spending summers at the beach in Wildwood with his wife and family.He is survived by his son Michael his wife Rebecca, daughter Kristen Dondero and her significant other Roberto Arcucci, grand daughters Abigail Olszak and Gianna Dondero, brother Lawrence Olszak, brother and sister-in-law Carmine & Patti DeMaioand many other nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.Mike was predeceased by his wife Sandra, his parents Lawrence Olszak& Anna (Hrankowski), sister Regina…
