Hanxiang Liu a beloved husband father and grandfather passed away peacefully on June 20 2026 at Jersey City Medical Center at the age of 90. Born on September 18 1936 in Jiangyin Jiangsu Province China to Lianda Liu and Ermei Zhou . Hanxiang grew up surrounded by family the fifth of six siblings with three older sisters an older brother and a younger brother. At the age of 14 he went to Shanghai where he spent eight years studying and working before relocating to Hefei Anhui province in 1958 following his work and spent the next 30 years there before retiring. In 2002 he first came to the United States to care for his newborn grandson staying for 18 months before returning home. In 2005 he made the permanent journey to the United States settling in Jersey City NJ. Hanxiang is survived by his wife Ruli Shen his son Anqi…
