Maria was born on April 8 1945 inWaltsch Germany to the late Michal andWeronikaCzapkaMadrala. She spent her childhood and early adult years in Poland living inBratkowiceand later Rzeszow before immigrating to the United States in 1994. She first settled in Maplewood New Jersey and spent the past 10 years residing in Califon. Maria first worked for the WSK International Aerospace Company in Rzeszow Poland for many years and later worked at the Vocational Medical School in Rzeszow. After moving to the United States she worked for Loving Care Agency in New Jersey where she cared for others with compassion kindness and dedication. Maria had a true zest for life and was known for her energetic spirit quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. She brought joy to everyone…

Penny Marie Beam age 67 of Califon Borough NJ passed away on Friday May 15 2026 at Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township NJ. Penny was born on April 24 1959 in a log cabin in Duckville NJ to the late Burton and Virginia Miller Beam. She was a longtime resident of Hunterdon County NJ. Penny is survived by her longtime companion Larry Ort of Califon NJ with whom she spent 38 years. Her son Woodrow Ort of Califon NJ and her daughter Amy Hill of Stewartsville NJ. In addition she is survived by her two grandsons and her two siblings Nancy Gillespie of Florida and Ted Beam of Butler Park NJ. A graveside service will take place on Friday May 29 2026 at 11am at Lower Valley Cemetery in Califon NJ.
