Lewis E. Apgar of Califon New Jersey passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 1 2026 at Hackettstown Hospital. He was 79 years old. Born on July 13 1946 Lewis was the son of the late Russell Apgar and MaryFrank Burd.He was a lifelong resident of Califon NJ. Lewis was the beloved husband of Jane M. Yaple Apgar with whom he shared50years of love and companionship. In addition to his wife he is survived by his two sons Jason Apgar and his wife Amanda of Hampton New Jersey and Michael Yapleand his wife Heather of Lebanon Township New Jersey. He is also survived by his brother Danny Apgar and his wife Linda of Hampton New Jersey. Lewis was a proud grandfather to Rylee Apgar and Kaylyn Yaple who brought him tremendous joy.
