Patricia Kennedy born Patricia Wegrocki 83 of Middletown New Jersey passed away on Monday February 9th. Pat lived a life defined not by a single title but by a remarkable list of them Artist. Archaeologist. Historian. Teacher. Calligrapher. Quilter. Scholar. Adventurer. Musician. Champion Fencer. Majorette. Model. Mother. Grandmother. In short she was extraordinary and there is simply not enough space here to capture the richness of her life. If you knew her you understand. Carlolyn nee DeDecker was born on Valentines Day 1930 in North Bergen NJ. She and her late husband Edward moved to Rumson to raise their family and remained deeply rooted in the community for the rest of their lives. A woman of many interests she was often found tending to her beautiful garden or enjoying the company of her many dear friends at theRumson Senior Citizens Club. She was also a longtime member of the congregation atFirst Presbyterian Church of Rumson. Though she loved her life in New Jersey Carolyn always looked forward to traveling south to Georgia and Florida to visit her extended family maintaining those close bonds across the miles. She is survived by her son Edward Jr. and his wife Kate her grandchildren Anna and Timothy and five greatgrandchildren.
