Genevieve June Anderson, 84, also known affectionately to family and friends as “Mazzie,” a lifelong resident of Atlantic Highlands and Leonardo, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026, with her family by her side.Genevieve was predeceased by her beloved son, John; her parents, Joseph and Lillian Machanska; and brothers, Gene, Mike, Joe, and John. She is survived by her loving daughters, Renee and Teresa; grandsons, Matthew, Jack, and Max; great-granddaughters, Gianna and Isabella; her sister, Susan and husband, Walter McGrail; her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Machanska and Roberta Ash; and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members to include Rocky and Tucker.A devoted mother to John and Renee, Genevieve carried the memory of her son in her heart every day and found strength in her unwavering faith.
