Born in Jersey City, NJ, Ray spent the past 45 years residing in Branchburg.Proud to serve his country and community, Ray served in the United States Navy from 1967-1971, with most of his time spent aboard the U.S.S. Mitscher DDG35. He was also a lifetime member of the Readington Volunteer Fire Company, starting in 1990.An avid traveler, Ray enjoyed trips to Ireland, Alaska, Disney World, and the western United States. He and his young family would visit Hilton Head, SC every year, which later turned into a tradition that added his grandchildren as well.During his free time, Ray loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He was also a true handyman, designing and constructing anything the family needed.More fondly known as Poppy, Ray was the foundation of the family along…

Cecilia Martinez Londono, 84, passed away peacefully on March 31st, 2026, at her son’s home in Branchburg, New Jersey, surrounded by her loving family.She was born in San Gil, Santander, Colombia, and spent much of her early life in Bucaramanga. After marrying, she raised her children in Valledupar before moving to the United States on March 30, 1983, where she later made her home in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.Cecilia dedicated her life to caring for others, both as a devoted homemaker and through her work helping families create warm, welcoming homes. Her true passion, however, was her own family. She found her greatest joy in bringing loved ones together, creating lasting memories through gatherings filled with laughter, love, and her incredible cooking.
