It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lulu Teresa Thompson on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at her home in New Brunswick.Mrs. Thompson was born on June 21, 1928 in New Brunswick to William and Nejeba Barrood. Her family lived above their grocery store, and she and her ten brothers and sisters worked alongside their father in the store. She worked at many establishments in her teens, and became a cashier at Food Fair Supermarket in town. She became a stay-at-home mom to her three children, supporting them in all of their activities, and was a teacher’s helper at Sacred Heart School. She was a devoted mother and cherished grandmother.Mrs. Thompson returned to the workforce at the age of 50, when she was hired by the City of New Brunswick. She was a cashier/clerk at the Municipal Court, and later worked as a clerk in the Traffic…

He lived in Birchwood Village, Rockaway Township before settling in Chester, NJ in 1967. He was a man of faith and a parishioner of St. Lawerence Church.George proudly served his country in the Navy during the Korean War. He was stationed on the Battleships New Jersey, Wisconsin, and Juneau. He was Vice President of E.W McClave in Harrison, NJ. He also protected his community with the Rockaway Township Fire Department where he was a founding member and served as the first president and the 3rd chief.He was a member of the American Legion Post 342, and the NJ Lumberman’s Association. Joyce Arcieri Rhodes, 87, died October 9, 2026. Joyce was born and raised in Bound Brook to her late parents Emmanuel (Ping) and Emma Arcieri. She graduated from Bound Brook High School Class of 1957. She settled in Raritan with her husband where they lived a very active life. She spent her career within the Bell System retiring in 1988. She is predeceased by her husband Roger Rhodes. Surviving are many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.Services will be private at Bound Brook Cemetery. Arrangements by Bruce C.
