Lauren Marie Roby, 40, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at her residence in Landing, New Jersey. She was born in Gwinn, Michigan on the K. I. Sawyer Air Force Base to her parents Jeffrey M. and Donna L. Roby. Their family continued to move around the world often, before eventually settling in Hamburg, New Jersey.Lauren studied at County College of Morris, focusing on Interior Design, and went on to pursue a career in literature. She was currently in the process of getting her first book published, called “Ground Truth.” Lauren was also a gifted and talented poet and wrote notebooks filled with her original work.She is predeceased by her paternal grandparents Steven C. and Virginia D.
