Lee R. Carpenter, 83, of Lopatcong Township, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2026.Lee was born in Phillipsburg, NJ on November 5, 1942 to the late Frank H. Carpenter and Thelma M. Mabie Carpenter.Lee was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, Class of 1961. He proudly played on the 1960 football team, which was inducted into the Phillipsburg High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Lee served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was in Purchasing and Management with Bell and Howell of Phillipsburg. Lee was an avid train collector, enjoyed doing DIY projects around the house, maintained bird feeders for his wife, and liked relaxing and watching TV.
