David Hallum Shaw 81 passed away peacefully on June 26 2026 leaving a legacy of faith perseverance kindness and deep love for his family. Born January 5 1945 David lived with quiet strength and humble service. He taught high school mathematics for more than 30 years earning the respect and affection of countless students. Patient and encouraging he found joy in helping them understand grow and succeed leaving many with lasting lessons in kindness integrity and confidence. An Eagle Scout in spirit and practice David loved the outdoors. Fishing hunting camping hiking and tending his raised garden brought him peace and satisfaction. He also never met a faithful dog he couldnt appreciate. David loved Texas history and Americas pioneers admiring their grit resilience and determinationqualities reflected in his own life. He believed faith hard work and perseverance could carry a person through lifes greatest challenges. Above all David will be…
