Sheridan Sr. Bill was raised in East Greenbush and was a graduate of Columbia High School Class of 1984. Bill was employed as an environmental services worker at Eddy Hawthorne Ridge where he truly loved his work the residents and his coworkers. His dedication and compassion did not go unnoticedhe was recently honored with the St. Peters Health Partners Spirit Award. Outside of work Bill was an avid fisherman who enjoyed spending time on the water and he had a passion for dirt racing. Above all else he cherished time with his family. Born June 7 1930 in Watervliet he was the son of the late John J. and Mary Mihalko Keevern. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War from 1951 to 1954. John married the former Marie A. Dorfner on May 14 1955 and the two cherished a blessed and loving union of 58 years before her passing on January 20 2014. John worked as a Lab Technician with General Electric in Waterford for 34 years retiring in 1990. He was also a former member of the American Legion Post 1450 in Halfmoon.
