GUILDERLAND Kimberly Ann Smith 69 of Guilderland New York passed away peacefully on August 13 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Kimberly grew up in Loudonville N.Y. the daughter of the late Irwin J. Smith III and the late Carole Ann Orr. She attended St. Pius X School before graduating from The Albany Academy for Girls in 1975. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology graduating in 1979. The relationships she forged during these years remained a cherished source of joy and companionship throughout her life. A talented fine artist graphic designer and art director Kimberly founded her own design firm Kimberly Smith Company. Throughout her career Kimberly fostered meaningful and lasting friendships with her coworkers many of whom became an important part of her extended family.
