Albany Joseph Brass 91 passed away peacefully at 333 a.m. on Saturday October 10 2026 at the Massry Residence in Albany. He was born in the Bronx New York on October 23 1934 the son of the late Harry and Lilian Brass. Joe served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1956 stationed at Fort Niagara New York during the early years of the Cold War as part of the Armys antiaircraft defenses of the BuffaloNiagara region. He was proud of his service to his country. Following his service he completed his college education at Hunter College on the GI Bill. He married Marilyn Perry on June 22 1958 and they shared a blissful marriage of 67 years until her passing in September 2025.
