Mark Allen entered this world on December 5 1965 at Morrisania Hospital in the Bronx New York born to the late George C. Allen and Janet Allen Messia. Growing up Mark was an adventurous and spirited boy. He loved riding his bike playing with animals and exploring his neighborhood. From an early age he had a deep fondness for animals caring for a dog a cat and even gerbils. Mark was educated in the New York City public school system and graduated from Harry S. Truman High School in the Bronx. After high school he enlisted in the United States Air National Guard where he completed Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas graduating at the top of his class.
