Betty Jean Tronkowski ne Dickson 91 of Endicott New York passed away on February 11 2026. Born on April 4 1934 she was the daughter of the late Thomas Dickson and Lunda Evelyn Platt Dickson. Betty grew up in Luzerne and Kingston Pennsylvania where she attended Luzerne High School. It was there that she met her husband Bernie Tronkowski the high school sweethearts were together for over 70 years having met in 1951. In 1962 the family moved to Endicott New York where they established their longtime home. A dedicated and ambitious worker Betty began her employment history at age 14 working in the diet kitchen at Nesbitt Memorial Hospital in Kingston PA. After moving to New York she began a 37year career with Binghamton Giant Markets. Starting as a cashier she worked her way up to store office manager and eventually to the corporate office where she oversaw bookkeeping…

February 10th 2026 was and is now deemed "Doris Yates Glorious Day" She was welcomed home by her loving Savior Jesus Christ and can finally see him face to face in glory forevermore She had a long battle at home with dementia but even throughout that time she remained the kind gentle soul she always was. She still recognized hymns and would sing along up until three days before her death and she looked forward to her daily evening fudgsicle and all things chocolate. Doris life has been characterized by faith love and trust in God. She lived this out in how she treated others and was consistently loving kind gentle patient tender approachable generous wise witty and wonderfully humorous. She loved her family with all her heart and she spent her whole life loving and serving others selflessly sacrificially and impartially in so many beautiful ways. She especially enjoyed…
