Angels came for our brother Edward C. Ted Powell 71 Binghamton on June 27 2026. A graduate of Gettysburg College Ted was a Civil War buff ever since he was a little boy playing with Plastic blue and gray soldiers on the living room rug. He was an avid reader his apartment filled with books that were arranged by subject. A Yankees fan if a doctor asked him at the end of an appointment if he had any questions Ted would say with a twinkle in his eye Whos going to win the World Series Ted was predeceased by his parents Richard and Helen Powell also long term companion Kathy Ekstrand. He is survived by his siblings Nancy Paul Guido Larry Nancy Powell and Martha Brad Bennett. Also nieces Deana Guido Theresa Greg and son Nathan Asfoury Maria Jason and daughter Whitney Jones.
