Bruce N. Hallenbeck 92 of Kinderhook passed away peacefully on April 1 2026 at Riverside Nursing Home in Castleton NY. Bruce was born in Ghent NY to George and Martha Robertson Hallenbeck on April 24 1933. He attended Martin Van Buren school in Kinderhook. He worked for a time at Fort Orange in Castleton and spent the rest of his career as general manager at Griffin Supply Co in Hudson NY. After retirement he was known as "Mr. FixIt" doing odd jobs in Columbia County. Bruce enjoyed the outdoors whether at his cabin in the Adirondacks as a member of Glencadia Sportsmans Club or just at home puttering around the property He was a diehard Yankees fan and a man of faith who belonged to St. Marks Lutheran Church.
