Gary S. Lewandowski of Lancaster NY passed away on August 17 2026 after a courageous battle surrounded by his loving family. Born in Buffalo NY on January 16 1945 he was the son of the late Stephania nee Jazgara and Vincent Lewandowski. Gary was a hardworking talented and genuinely good man who took great pride in everything he did. On April 8 1967 he married the former Jeanette M. Wilk at St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church in Sloan. From that day forward they shared a life filled with family hard work adventures and countless memories. Jeanette was not only his beloved wife but his partner through all of lifes joys and challenges. Gary was a talented Tool Die Maker and retired from the General Motors Tonawanda Engine Plant.
