Renee E. Argentine 68 of 6752 Nelson Road Canastota passed away peacefully on Monday March 30 2026 at her home following a lengthy illness with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 16 1957 in Rome NY the daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth Baulig Prevo. Renee spent her early years in Rome graduating from Rome Catholic High School in 1975 and SUNY Cortland in 1979 later earning her Masters Degree in Education. She has lived in Canastota since 1980. Renee dedicated her career to education teaching first at VVS before joining the faculty at Canastota Central School. Her teaching career spanned thirtyfour years between the two districts retiring in 2013 due to her health. She is predeceased by husband John Sisters Louise Petitto Deanna Taylor and brother Peter Cappa. Her passion in life was her family. She loved to cook family dinners for all and spend time with her children grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She also loved to go on cruises.
