Mrs. Dolores J. Mang 89 of State Highway 5s Fort Plain passed away in the early morning of Saturday May 9th 2026 at the Palatine Nursing Home. Dolores was born on August 29 1936 in the Town of Canajoharie NY the daughter of the late Fred Jones and Luella Putnam Jones. In 1954 she graduated from Canajoharie High School. Later she would spend a short time at Cornell University to obtain her milk testing license. From September 1954 until April 25 1959 she worked as a milk tester. At this point she and her husband became the owners and operators of the familys dairy farm which they ran until their son took over. She lived her entire life in the local area and enjoyed snowmobiling bowling and fishing with her true passion being farming. With her hair nicely brushed and lipstick on Helen Null passed away peacefully on the morning of May 14th 2026 while residing at Alpine Nursing Home in Little Falls NY. Helen was born on December 19th 1943 and spent her early years on the family farm in Holland Patent with her sister Eleanor. After graduating from Holland Patent High School she briefly attended college then met and married George Armstrong the father of her three beloved children Sandra Susan and Mark. She raised her family in Fort Plain NY. She later married Eugene Null and spent four years in Dover Delaware where he was stationed in the Air Force. They were married for 32 years until his passing in 2010. Mr. Robert W. Putnam 85 most recently of Dygert Road Canajoharie NY died on May 14 2026 following a battle with cancer. Born on October 6 1940 in the Town of Root NY he was the son of Clarence F. Putnam and Eva Reynolds Putnam. He attended Fort Plain High School and later served in the US Navy becoming an Electronics Technician. Bob spent most of his life in the local area until he entered the service returning after. For some years Bob and his 1st wife Bettye had been spending winters in Zephyr Hills Florida. Mr. Putnam served in the US Navy from 1958 to 1976 as an Electronics Technician serving on various ships and commands including a tour in Vietnam.
