Gerald D. Allen 3rd 38 of Rome passed away unexpectedly on June 28 2026. He was born on December 24 1987 in Rome N.Y. the son of Gerald D. Allen Jr. and Carmela Stewart. He attended Rome Schools and was formerly employed by Orgill of Rome as a shipping and receiving clerk a job that he truly enjoyed. Gerald was a talented artist and poet. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and coin collecting. He is now welcome into external peace reunited with his beloved grandmother Carol DeSimone Hayes where we pray they rest together in everlasting love. Gerald is survived by his parents a sister Diamond Linder and brother Anquawn Linder along with several nieces and nephews. William T. Drake 76 Winky of Point Rock Taberg NY passed away on June 30 2026 at Rome Health. Born March 26 1950 he was the son of Walter Drake and Anna Garno Drake. William was employed as a machinist at ConMed he also did maintenance work at HTC he had a strong work ethic and always kept busy. A man who believed in love he was married at different times to RuthJuanita Rita and Roxanne. In 1995 he was united in marriage to Shirley Lyke Drake together they shared 27 beautiful years until her passing in 2022.. He is survived by his Companion Michelle MCsweeney. William took pride in his home and loved taking in the views of his land. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and spending time in the woods.
