Born March 3 1945 in New Britain Connecticut Herman Bud as he was called his entire life by both friends and colleagues was the son of Herman and Irene Wolf. Bud grew up in New Britain and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in business administration. He moved with his family to Saratoga Springs in 1974 and started Adicommco Inc. a roadside billboard company. Bud built Adicommco from a small 12 board company to a powerhouse advertising firm with more than 500 billboards located from Amsterdam New York to the Canadian border. He sold the company in 2000 to a national firm. Not content to rest in retirement Bud turned to real estate investment buying and renovating properties in Saratoga Springs and Glens Falls.
