Karen Brunner 59 passed away on Tuesday June 30 2026 at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family and friends. Karen was born on November 9 1966 in Schenectady New York to the late Roberta Brunner and the late Francis Brunner. She was a graduate of Mohonasen High School Schenectady County Community College and the College of Saint Rose where she earned degrees in education. Karen is survived by her loving life partner of 40 years Robert Bosy of Glenville New York her stepfather David Hicks of Schenectady New York her sister Denise James Luppa of Brewerton New York her brother Michael Sheena Brunner of Austin Texas her niece Danielle Luppa of Cicero New York and her nephew Joseph Luppa of Clay New York.
