George John Cally 82 of Rocky Point New York passed away peacefully on May 6 2026. Born on November 19 1943 George was a kind generous and dependable man. He had a wonderful sense of humor trailing smiles and laughter wherever he went. George was a businessman and entrepreneur who worked in aerospace manufacturing and a Vietnam Army Veteran. Many will have fond memories of him rounding the 18th green or harmonizing to doo wop hits cheering enthusiastically at basketball and softball games or traveling to faroff destinations. But he will mostly be remembered for his earnest and abiding love for his family especially his grandchildren. He was the beloved husband of Marion Beth Ward Cally with whom he shared 57 years of marriage. They met at a spaghetti dinner and built a beautiful life together.
