Rose Nevart Tanielian ne Demirjian of Briarcliff Manor New York passed away peacefully at the age of 94. Born on August 1 1932 in Kessab Syria she was the daughter of Bedros and Efronia Demirjian. Rose grew up on a farm in Kessab Syria a place she remembered with tremendous love and affection throughout her life. She often shared stories of growing up there with her family carrying those memories with her even after she left. Her childhood her Armenian heritage and her faith remained deeply woven into who she was. Rose married her husband Melkon in Beirut Lebanon. Their fierce love for their family and their determination to give their children a better life became their guiding light.
