Kenneth Kenny Watt Poole 76 of Taylorsville passed away at his home after a period of declining health on Thursday February 12 2026. Kenny was a graduate of Taylorsville High School and Appalachian State. He was a retired school teacher who loved to share his passion of history with his many students over a period of 36 years. When not teaching he was a member of the Taylorsville Town Council for 22 years serving as Mayor ProTem. He loved golfing at Brushy Mountain watching the App State Mountaineers play football at the Rock and pulling for the New York Yankees.
