Raymond Myron Gallagher age 81 of Hickory passed away on Wednesday July 1 2026 at Valley Nursing Center. Raymond was born November 8 1944 in Sayre Pennsylvania the son of the late Emmett Gallagher and Margaret Briggs Cannavino. Raymond served in the United States Navy. He will be missed by his children grandchildren and siblings. Including his parents he was preceded in death by three sons Terry Gallagher Raymond Gallagher Jr. Emmett Gallagher III his sister Kelly Nauss his brother August Gallagher his brotherinlaw Marvin Frock. Family members left to cherish and honor Raymonds memories include his daughters Valerie Ahlstrom Charlie Bates Lori Como Jodie Amanda Simpson Diena Cannavino Hope Gallagher his sons Chris Allen Laura Vincent Gallagher Tina his loving grandchildren his sister Nancy Frock his brothers Jeff Cannavino Ken Cross his sisterinlaw Jackie Gallagher and a number of nieces nephews cousins and friends.
