Anne Jean Stout, 77, of the Linville Falls area, passed away on October 10, 2026, following a short battle with cancer.An active member of Pisgah Methodist Church, Anna was well loved by those who knew her. She loved spending time with her family and offered a helping hand to those in need.Anna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who helped raise two generations of Stouts. She chose to devote her life to making a home and raising her family, an honorable calling she fulfilled with love and dedication.She was well known for her wonderful cooking, especially her lemon pies, biscuits, and sourdough bread. Her kitchen was a place where family gathered, and love was shared.She was known for her love of playing Rook and Christmas games.Her family includes her husband of over 50 years, Mark Stout, of the home.
