Larry Dale Hatley, 71, of Hickory passed away on May 14, 2026.Born August 25, 1954 in Carter County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ruth Payne Hatley. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by four siblings, Edward, Elizabeth (Leroy), Mark, and Rosa (Ronnie); his brother-in-law, Roger; his maternal and paternal grandparents; his niece, Lisa Owens; and a few aunts, uncles, and cousins.Larry was a collector of odds and ends. He was a huge pro wrestling fan and loved making new friends on his CB radio, where most people knew him by his handle, “Cowboy”.Survivors include his siblings, Jerry Hatley and Rebecca Rink, both of Hickory, Gary Hatley (Martha) of Taylorsville, Ray Hatley (Norma) and Janet Presnell (Randall), all of Villas; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.The family will receive friends at a later date.In lieu of flowers, donations…

She was born on November 6, 1976, in Wilkes County to the late Reverend Floyd Parks, Jr. and Mrs. Ella Ruth Parks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Donna Parks and Kandi Parks.Sharon was a devoted administrative assistant in the accounting field who dedicated her life to both her work and her family. A lifelong member of Union Grove Baptist Church, she found great joy in her faith and singing soprano alongside her siblings.
