Linda was a sweet beautiful lady. Keeping the family in our prayers during this difficult time. As a friend of Johns I have many fond memories of Linda Earle. Back in the 80s the Steadman home at Wrightsville Beach was the preferred hang out spot for us teenagers. This was mostly thanks to Linda Earles inexhaustible hospitality and genuine delight in opening her home to raucous and ravenous boys. She eagerly engaged us in conversation and actually listened. And she fed usvery well. Her cooking is legendary. I admit that on more than a few occasions I intentionally lingered at the Steadmans long enough to get her invite to stay for dinner.
