Doug was born on September 8 1951 in Essex County New Jersey to the late Donald Lee and Margaret Twyman Lee. He was raised in Livingston New Jersey where he attended St. Philomenas Elementary School and Essex Catholic High School followed by a brief time at Mount Saint Marys College in Maryland. As a young man Doug embraced adventure traveling throughout the country and spending time in Colorado and New Orleans before returning to Livingston where he maintained deep roots for many years. A jack of many trades Doug worked primarily as a tree surgeon during those years operating his own business and later applying his skills in carpentry. With a largerthanlife personality and a gift for connecting with people he cultivated friendships across generations and throughout the community. James was a proud graduate of Murray State University where he earned his undergraduate degree and the University of Kentucky where he received his masters degree. Jeri Reaves Williamson 80 passed away on August 3 2026 while living in FuquayVarina North Carolina. Jeri was born on March 17 1946 in Greenville North Carolina and graduated from R.J. Reynolds High School in WinstonSalem. In the late 1960s she attended Coastal Carolina College in Conway South Carolina where she was crowned Miss Coastal Carolina. She later returned to campus as an adult learner taking classes simply for the love of learning. For many years Jeri was an active and beloved member of the Kiwanis Club of Pawleys Island SC where she served as president for a time and dedicated much of her time to volunteering with children with special needs. She was also a longtime member of Brookgreen Gardens and looking forward to the gardens Christmas lights each year was one of her favorite holiday traditions.
