Juanita Gale Davis 79 of Lillington passed away August 12 2026. She was born in Raleigh County West Virginia on June 21 1947 to the late John and Lorraine Hutchinson Taylor. In addition to her parents she was preceded by 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Juanita is survived by her son Todd Davis wife Gwen Brown daughter Trisa Davis Vaughan husband Bobby Lane Vaughan Jr. 5 grandchildren 14 greatgrandchildren 1 brother and 1 sister. Known fondly as the family historian of sorts she loved talking with family and friends and keeping memories alive. She possessed a deep appreciation for music that she lovingly passed down to her children and grandchildren. Mr. Thomas Blake Core, 35, of Dunn passed away Friday morning August 14, 2026.Blake was born February 26, 1991, in Cumberland County son of Tommy and Michele Fann Core.Blake attended Midway High School and worked with his dad at Tommy Core’s Residential Construction. Blake loved his children and enjoyed hunting and cat fishing was his happy place with his son and dad which made it even more special.
