Annette Lowery Daughety 75 of Kinston passed away on Wednesday April 1 2026. Annette was born on June 27 1950 to W. W. Skin and Jeanette Lowery. Annette married her high school sweetheart Robert L. Bobby Daughety on June 22 1969. She was a beautician for five years and Secretary Treasurer at the familys business Daughetys Office Equipment Inc. in Kinston for 32 years. Annette was a lifelong member of Shady Grove Church she loved the Lord and her church family was an extension of her own. Annette was an integral supporter of church outreach programs including Easter and Christmas dramas. She her husband and their son founded the Race of Faith a fundraiser to further cystic fibrosis research hosted annually at Shady Grove Church.
