Charles Alfred Smith IV, 60, of Hot Springs, NC, peacefully passed away at his residence on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.Charles was born on May 31, 1965 in Buncombe County to his late parents, Charles Alfred Smith III and JoAnne Dolen Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Wilson.Charles worked for Cardinal Health and Mission Hospital as a Pharmacy Tech and Behavioral Tech. He loved baseball, golf and helping others. Charlie loved the Lord, his family and fellow man. He was a Member of the Salvation Army and Bonnie Hill Church.Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 16 years, Geraldine Smith, his two sons, Charles Alfred Smith V and Cameron Smith, and his brother, Cody Austin Smith.A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Madison Funeral Services with Reverend Wyllene…
