Nancy Duval Holderness Reams, 78, entered peacefully on July 2, 2026 into the presence of her Lord surrounded by the family she cherished above all else. A woman of unwavering faith, Nancy devoted her life to loving God, serving others, and creating a home where everyone who entered felt welcomed, encouraged, and deeply loved.Nancy was born on July 11, 1947, in Tarboro, North Carolina, to Nancy Braswell Holderness and H. Dail Holderness. She attended Tarboro High School, where she was a cheerleader, a member of the National Honor Society, and received numerous academic and leadership honors. She went on to attend Salem College, graduating in 1969 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. While at Salem, Nancy founded a tutoring program for underprivileged children, reflecting the servant's heart that would define her entire life.Following her graduation, Nancy attended the New York School of Interior Design.
