Charles ‘Chuck” Alden Stoddard Jr. born February 20, 1947. He passed away on October 11, 2026. For 58 years, he shared a devoted marriage with his wife, Jowyanne Stoddard, a partnership built on steadiness, laughter, and unwavering commitment.He was a proud father to Angela D. Stoddard, Douglas Stoddard (Marcela), and Melissa Carter (JT); sisters Peggy Erdman (Charlie), and Muriel Walker He loved his Family and found joy in the hobbies that brought him peace: fishing, playing golf, and spending time with his beloved fur babies, Toby and Princess, who were never far from his side.His grandchildren were among his greatest blessings: Michael Cockrell, Skylar Stoddard, Matthew Cockrell, Meredith Carter, Christopher Stoddard, and Jackson Stoddard; fourteen great grandchildren; special cousin Nancy Pierce.A Memorial Service will be held on October 15, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. at Benvenue Baptist Church with Rev. Joyce Bradbury Cockrell, 84, passed away October 12, 2026. She was born December 19, 1941 to the late Luther and Thelma Bradbury. She is also preceded in death by her son Dorsey Allen Cockrell; brother Eugene Bradbury (Kay); sisters-in-law Patricia Bradbury; brother-in-law AJ Scott.Joyce is survived by her husband of 62 years, Dorsey JR Cockrell; daughter Lynn Finch (Eddie); son Steven Cockrell; grandchildren Erin Cockrell (Travis), Bradley Cockrell (Sara), Erica Pace (Douglas), Valerie Alford (Justin), Hailey(Seth), Anthony, Dominick, Sebastian, Gage, Bentley; great grandchildren Connor, Noah, Ella, Oliver, Lydia, Sadie, Eden, Brooks; brothers James Bradbury (Edith), Carroll Bradbury, Jesse Bradbury (Marie); sister Margie Scott; several nieces and nephews.A visitation will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
