Mary Joyce Connally of Parkton was born in Cumberland County on Tuesday, January 11, 1944 to the late Robert Dees and Mary Davis Dees and departed this life on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, completing her journey of 82 years.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Connally, seven siblings: James Dees, Sarah Conoly, Linda Lovette, Frank Dees, Donnie Dees, Kenneth Dees and Malcolm Dees. Miss Connally was a lover of life. She was a member of Green Springs Baptist Church, where she served the Lord by serving her fellow man.She is survived by one daughter: Sharolyn Herndon and husband, Stephen of Lumberton, two grandchildren: Amanda (Jeremy) and Amber and two great-grandchildren: Jayden and Skyler; two brothers: Allen Dees (Lona), Dan Dees (Marguerite) and one sister: Allene Stiffel (Art), many nieces and nephews as well as a host of other relatives and friends.Visitation will be…
