Earl Hewitt Moore, 71, of Salisbury, passed away Monday, October 12, 2026, at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury.He was born March 26, 1955, in Statesville, NC, to the late William Carl Moore, Sr. and Laura Hewitt Moore. Mr. Moore was a 1973 graduate of Statesville High School, previously worked for Rack Room Shoes, and until his death was the Transportation Manager at Mohawk Industries in Thomasville.Earl is survived by his wife, Cynthia Meyler Moore, whom he married November 9, 1983; his children, Tara Gregory (Adam) of Salisbury, Carly Moore (Matt) of China Grove, and Scott Moore (Emma) of Salisbury; brothers, Bill Moore (Georgia) of Salisbury, and John Moore of Eden; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Thyatira Presbyterian Church, 220 White Road, Salisbury, NC 28147.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kiser Hospice…
