Kenneth Adams Bostic Jr. 80 of Inman South Carolina died at Greenville Memorial Hospital on October 11 2026. Born in Louisville Kentucky on December 22 1945 he was the son of the late Kenneth Adams Bostic Sr. and Margaret Mary Cleary Bostic. Ken pursued his education at Gordon Military College in Barnesville Georgia where he served on the National Guard before attending the Carolina School of Broadcasting in Charlotte North Carolina. These experiences helped lay the foundation for a career that would span radio and television and earn him recognition in the broadcasting community. He began his broadcasting career in radio working as a sports broadcaster for WBRM in Marion as well as WBBO in Forest City. He later transitioned into television weather serving as chief meteorologist at WSPA in Spartanburg before joining WLOS in Asheville North Carolina.
