Roger Clinton Harward 78 of Norwood passed away Saturday October 10 2026 at Atrium Healthcare in Albemarle. Funeral services will be held at 200 PM on Friday October 16 2026 at Green Memorial Methodist Church. Rev. Larry Coley will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Roger was born on September 8 1948 in Stanly County to the late Shellie Clinton and Banks Poplin Harward. He graduated from South Stanly High School and was a member at Green Memorial Methodist Church. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Darril Harward and sister Caron Harward Lowder. He is survived by his brother Jerry Harward of home niece and nephew Becky Goforth and Ken Lowder and numerous cousins.
